My therapeutic framework affirms that everyone is valuable, has a unique story, and is capable of change. It is a privilege to walk with individuals, families, and communities through understanding those three concepts. After obtaining my Masters in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh, I’ve had the opportunity to acquire a wide range of skills that operate out of cognitive-behavioral and systems theories. More importantly, I have been able to witness individuals make steps towards a more positive, healthy, and satisfying life. Along with my work at Pittsburgh Counseling and Wellness, I provide brief intervention and advocacy to a wide array of patients, including working with victims of abuse and violent crimes, those with severe mental illness, and those battling with and recovering from substance abuse. I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to take part in your journey. I accept UPMC and Highmark commercial insurance plans.
