As a licensed social worker in the medical field, I have worked with a variety of individuals at different stages of their lives. From transplant patients to individuals newly diagnosed with cancer, or those working through the final stages of their lives, these experiences have afforded me the opportunity to work not only with those individuals but also with family members and loved ones. My areas of specialty with individuals and families include grief, loss, crisis management, anxiety, and depression. I primarily utilize a strengths-based perspective to take an in-depth look at life experiences, how they are perceived, and how these experiences influence your day-to-day interactions. I completed my undergraduate degree at the Pennsylvania State University and received my Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work. I am a Pittsburgh transplant, avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan, and dog dad. Initiating individualized therapy is a great first step toward obtaining your goals and I am excited to work toward achieving them with you.
