Assistant Director of Clinical Services & Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Individual Couples Therapist

Ashley

Throughout my career in the mental health field, I have had the privilege of providing counseling and support to countless families, individuals, and children in a variety of settings. After completing my undergraduate studies at Grove City College, I returned to Colorado to study at the University of Denver. While there, I worked with individuals and families facing cancer treatment and terminal illness, as well as active-duty soldiers and retired military veterans and their families. As a recent transplant to Pittsburgh, I have come to love this city and the people that live here. I currently provide services to individuals facing a medical crisis, chronic illness, and end of life challenges in a hospital setting. My areas of specialty with individuals and couples include crisis management, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, and daily stress management. Together with the right tools, support, and hard work, we are all capable of profound change and growth. I approach treatment from a systems perspective, utilizing techniques of cognitive-behavioral therapy that focus on all areas in your life that contribute to your daily functioning. We will work together to identify your strengths and develop strategies to overcome challenges, reinforce relationships, and pursue personal growth. Life comes with many challenges and sometimes you need someone to walk with you through those challenges. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to wellness. I accept UPMC and United commercial insurance plans.
